What’s at the end of a rainbow?

Nothing.

Nothing at all.

On the surface, a rainbow

Is light from the sun being split and splintered into its colored components.

Red

Orange

Yellow

Green

Blue

Indigo

There’s more to it, surely

Length and arc

And the necessary atmospheric conditions

As in you need water

For refraction

Though I don’t have the scientific background to speak on it.

That’s not to say it isn’t beautiful

They’re gorgeous

Red

Orange

Yellow

Green

Blue

Indigo

Rainbows are facets of nature that never fail to amaze

Both the aged and the young, man or woman, less so the color-blind.

Adopted as a symbol of love

And acceptance

But that’s it

Nothing more

Just light

A picturesque arc of color

And love

Why does there need to be more?

A rainbow is a rainbow is a rainbow

Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Indigo

And that’s it.
